Redis is one the fastest key-value pair, noSQL, in-memory database available on market, and many companies like disqus uses Redis for analytics. The workshop aims at enabling attendees quick prototyping, and designing fast and efficient analytic solutions with Redis and Python. Workshop will be unveiling the other side of Hadoop, with instant analytics of data.

The workshop will include:

• Basics of Redis
• Basics of Python
• Develop a demo application with python and redis live along with the attendees, and show real-time analytics using Django
• Discussion
• Conclusion

Requirements

A laptop, with python, redis-py and redis installed. Also, some exposure to Python and Redis will be great.
